The number of patients with allergic diseases such as allergic rhinitis, atopic dermatitis, and food allergy is increasing worldwide. Elucidation of the mechanisms of allergic diseases is critical for novel strategy developments for allergic disease treatments. We investigate the mechanisms of allergic disease focusing on signal transduction, immune cell interactions, and internal/external regulating factors as follows:
- Research on molecular and cellular mechanisms of allergic diseases
- Study of intra- and extra-cellular factors regulating allergic inflammation
- Research on regulation of allergic responses aimed at clinical application
