We aim to reveal how the brain functions and what neural deficits induce psychiatric disorders, and also investigate therapeutic targets for brain disorders. We study the neural mechanisms of the following:
- Development and reinstatement of drug addiction
- Neuropathology of behavioral addiction
- Nicotine-induced enhancement of recognition memory
- MDMA-induced prosocial effects
- Depression
