The development of diversity-oriented synthetic routes and methods for synthesis of target molecules including natural products provides new possibilities for finding a new candidate of pharmaceutical treatments. Our laboratory also investigates organic reactions that can provide a solution for oxidation and reduction. Our focus is on following topics:
- Development of [4+2] cycloaddition and multi-component reactions for carbon-carbon bond formation
- Total synthesis of natural products
- Development of new oxidation and reduction for organic synthesis
